Romano confirmed on X, "Gyokeres didn't have doubts even when Saudi clubs offered a way higher salary: only Arsenal."
A clear sign of Gyokeres' intent came via CNN Portugal, which reported removal vans clearing out his home in Portugal, signaling his readiness to relocate. Sporting's president, Frederico Varandas, acknowledged the situation but remained firm, stating, "If they don't want to pay Viktor's fair market value, we're very comfortable with that for the next three years."
Meanwhile, Arsenal have pulled off a coup by securing 17-year-old striker Will Wright from Salford City, beating Liverpool in the race for his signature. The Reds had been in advanced talks, but Arsenal's 500,000-pound offer, including add-ons, proved decisive.
