The Cape Winelands outfit officially announced Kwayiba's arrival on Thursday, with the 26-year-old putting pen to paper on a long-term contract ahead of the 2026/27 Premier Soccer League season.
The signing ends weeks of speculation surrounding Kwayiba's future after an impressive spell at Chippa United, where he established himself as one of the league's most dangerous attacking players.
A former Orlando Pirates forward, Kwayiba now joins Gavin Hunt's side as Stellenbosch continue to strengthen their squad following the departure of several key players.
Speaking after the deal was completed, Benadie explained why the club made Kwayiba a priority target.
"Sinoxolo is an exciting player who we have admired for some time, so we are delighted to welcome him to the Club," Benadie said on the club's official website.
The Stellenbosch CEO believes the striker's consistent performances and winning mentality make him an ideal addition to the squad as they prepare for another demanding campaign.
"He is a proven goalscorer and match-winner who has consistently displayed his ability to compete at the highest level, and we believe he will be a valuable addition to our squad," Benadie added.
Kwayiba becomes another significant addition to Hunt's squad, with Stellenbosch also having secured the permanent signing of Thabiso Lebitso from Orlando Pirates during the current transfer window.
The striker is expected to join his new teammates for pre-season training immediately as Stellenbosch intensify preparations for the new Premiership campaign.
His versatility, physical presence and eye for goal are expected to provide Hunt with greater attacking options as the club aims to build on its recent success.
