The Bafana Bafana winger has been one of the Buccaneers' standout performers this season, registering eight goals and an assist in 13 appearances across all competitions.
Moremi's recent form has been particularly impressive, scoring five goals and providing an assist in his last five matches, further strengthening his position in the national team setup.
The 26-year-old will now hope to carry that momentum into November's back-to-back 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Kenya as he looks to earn more playing time under Pitso Mosimane.
Ouaddou has revealed that his approach has been to maximise Moremi's biggest weapon, his pace, while allowing him to operate in a role that suits his natural abilities.
"Sometimes, even though I want to have inverted players, the quality of the players is sometimes to be simple and to be a winger. He is not a number 10, and I cannot convert him into a 10," Ouaddou told journalists.
The Pirates mentor believes Moremi must embrace his individuality instead of attempting to replicate the playing styles of teammates Relebohile Mofokeng and Oswin Appollis.
"I always say to Moremi that you have a special quality that you are gifted with. God gave you a special quality, and this is speed," he added.
Ouaddou also stressed that the winger's development is about understanding how to use that speed effectively to benefit the team.
"If he wants to be Mofokeng, he can't be Mofokeng. He has to stay Moremi, and Mofokeng cannot be Moremi," he explained.
Ouaddou will be hoping Moremi will once again be on his best when the Buccaneers take on Sekhukhune United in the Carling Knockout Cup quarter-finals at Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday.
