Thabiso Kutumela gave Usuthu the lead just before the half hour mark at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

The visitors however hit back through Sanele Barns five minutes before the halftime break.

The second half was a cagey affair and just as it seemed tha game would end in a stalemate, Ekstein popped up to net a late winner.

Sekhukhune 0-0 Polokwane

Both teams could not convert opportunities in the final third as a goalless stalemate was played out at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

The result would be a setback for both teams as they chase a top-eight berth at the end of the season.
