Burnley sign Armando Broja on five-year deal from Chelsea

The 23-year-old, who has earned 27 senior caps for Albania, brings a wealth of Premier League experience to Turf Moor, having enjoyed loan spells with Southampton, Fulham and Everton.

Broja began his professional career at Chelsea, signing his first contract in 2020. Soon after, he was sent on loan to Dutch club Vitesse, where he netted 10 league goals in 30 appearances.

He made history by becoming the first Albanian player to score in the English top-flight during his 2021/22 stint at Southampton, where he managed six goals in 32 Premier League outings.

In the latter half of the 2023/24 campaign, Broja joined Fulham on loan, before moving to Everton for the 2024/25 season. His blend of pace, physicality and aerial presence has made him a notable threat across multiple clubs.

"I am really excited to be here as a Burnley player," said Broja, via the club's official website.

"It's a really positive time to be joining this club ahead of the start of the new Premier League season. I can't wait to get going!

"I'm feeling good, I'm ready and I'm excited about the challenge of playing for this club.

"I can already feel the support from the Burnley fans - I can tell you all that I will be giving my all every time I pull on the famous Claret shirt."
