Argentina name provisional 2026 FIFA World Cup squad
Argentina have named a provisional 55-man squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Black Stars are in a difficult Group L that includes England, Croatia and Panama.
Queiroz only just took charge of the side following the sacking of Otto Addo but is looking forward to a productive experience with his new players.
The former Real Madrid head coach has plenty of international experience from his time coaching Portugal, Egypt, Iran, Colombia, Qatar and Oman.
Ahead of actually meeting up with his squad, the mentor posted on Instagram: "40 days to honour the pride, passion, and dreams of Ghana. Absolute focus. Maximum discipline. Total sacrifice. No distractions. No excuses. Only commitment to excellence.
"Think big. Believe big. Be ready to deliver big,” he added.
"Greatness is a team united on and off the pitch by discipline, sacrifice, and the relentless execution of every small detail together. Time to rise for Ghana.”
Queiroz's side will face Mexico and Wales in international friendlies later this month.
