The 25-year-old midfielder joins the Chilli Boys after making his mark in South Africa, adding further experience to a Chippa squad preparing for the new campaign.
Bance has enjoyed a career that has taken him beyond South Africa, having also played in Ivory Coast, Sweden and the United States. His experience at both domestic and international level is expected to provide Chippa with greater depth and physicality in the middle of the park.
The midfielder has also represented Burkina Faso at senior international level, further highlighting the experience he brings to coach and teammates.
Chippa officially confirmed the signing on social media, expressing confidence that Bance will play an important role in strengthening the squad.
"Chippa United Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of highly rated Burkinabe midfielder Ibrahim Bancroft. The 25-year-old joins the Chilli Boys following his spell with Marumo Gallants. Despite attracting interest from several clubs, Bancé chose Chippa United as the next destination in his career," the club said.
Chippa also highlighted his qualities in midfield and his ability to contribute both defensively and offensively.
"A strong and composed presence in central midfield, he brings valuable experience from playing in South Africa, Côte d'Ivoire, Sweden and the United States. He has also represented Burkina Faso at senior international level," the statement continued.
"We are confident that his physicality, work rate and ability to control the midfield will add strength and balance to our squad."
Bance will now look to settle into his new surroundings and make an immediate impact as Chippa continue to build their squad.
