Report: Aston Villa edge closer to Alejandro Garnacho deal with Chelsea
Aston Villa are closing in on the signing of Alejandro Garnacho from Chelsea, although neither club has officially confirmed that an agreement has been reached.

The 24-year-old is reportedly set to sign a five-year deal which includes a notable salary increase with all paperwork ready for completion.
Doku joined the Cityzens from French Ligue One side Stade Rennais in 2023, going on to make 131 appearances for the English club, scoring 22 goals while providing 34 assists under former manager Pep Guardiola.
He has already won the 2023/24 Premier League, 2024/25 FA Community Shield, 2025/26 FA Cup and Carabao Cup since moving to Manchester.
The Belgian attacker featured in five of his nations six matches at the recently concluded FIFA World Cup 2026, where they fell to eventual champions Spain in the quarterfinals.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano the official announcement for the new deal is imminent, with the Belgian set to be an integral part of new boss Enzo Maresca's squad.
