The midfielder, who impressed in Liverpool's latest pre-season victory over Wrexham in Nashville, said the Reds' trademark intensity has returned under the Spaniard after being absent for much of last season.
Liverpool have made a perfect start to Iraola's reign, beating Sunderland and the Red Dragons during their tour of the United States despite being without several senior players involved in this summer's World Cup.
"It's very good. I think the intensity what we need, it's here now. What we have been missing, it's back from the coach side, from the players' side as well," said Szoboszlai.
"So now we have to put this together with the quality of the players we have and I think it's going to be quite nice. I think I can talk from everybody's side that we want to be successful this season.
"It is long term. Obviously we have a new manager, the team has been changed and it's maybe not in a couple of months, but in the long term I think it will work out."
Szoboszlai's comments come after he committed his long-term future to the club by signing a new contract earlier this month. The agreement keeps the 2025/26 Liverpool Player of the Season at Anfield until 2031.
Liverpool have also secured midfielder Ryan Gravenberch on a new deal as preparations continue for the upcoming campaign.
