The Super Eagles are unbeaten heading into their last four clash after Group E wins over Tanzania, Tunisia and Uganda before a convincing 4-0 victory against Mozambique in their last 16 clash.
Chelle's team then defeated Algeria 2-0 to set up a semi-final with a Moroccan side that beat the Comoros and Zambia, while drawing with Mali, before seeing off both Tanzania, and then Cameroon 2-0 in their quarter-final tie.
While Nigeria have three AFCON titles to their name and last won the competition in 2023, Morocco are playing their first semi-final in 22 years, and have just one AFCON title, from 1976 - but who are also yet to concede a goal from open play on home soil.
Ahead of the game, Chelle said on Flash Score: "I feel that my squad is tired, so I may have to change my approach. We might let Morocco have the ball and wait for them."
"We have seen that they struggle when they come up against a low block. I think we will start like that. We will try to hold on in the first half and then play our game in the second half," he added.
"Algeria and Morocco are two good teams with good players, but Morocco doesn't play like Algeria, and Walid Regragui isn't Vladimir Petkovic. I will have to work, and my group too, to beat this team," Chelle concluded.
