FIFA Friendlies wrap - Morocco beat Paraguay as Zambia are undone by Argentina

Argentina 5-0 Zambia

Zambia were no match for Argentina as they went down 5-0 to the World Champions at La Bombonera.

Julian Alvarez (4'), Lionel Messi (43'), Nicolas Otamendi (50' P), Valentín Barco (90+4') were all on target alongside a 68th minute own-goal from Dominic Chanda for a comprehensive victory.

Equatorial Guinea 1-1 Madagascar

Equatorial Guinea were held to a 1-1 draw with Madagascar at Estadio de Malabo where Loren Ziniga's (45+3') first-half goal was cancelled out just after the hour mark by Rayan Raveloson (62').

Malawi 0-1 Botswana

Thatayaone Kgamanyane was the match winner for Botswana in their friendly international at the Bingu National Stadium on Tuesday.

Liberia 2-2 Libya

Liberia were held to a 2-2 with Libya at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex. William Jebor (14') was first on target for Liberia, but Mohammed Salih (39') made sure that both sides went into the half-time break level-pegging. Sam Johnson (67') restored the home side's lead but Omar Al Khouja (82') ensured a share of the spoils with his late goal.

Russia 0-0 Mali

There were no goals at the Krasnodar Stadium on Tuesday as Mali held Russia to a goalless draw.

The hosts came closest to a winner in the first half with a shot that came back off a post in the 33rd minute.

Jordan 2-2 Nigeria

Nigeria were unable to overcome Jordan in their international friendly clash at the King Abdullah II Stadium.

The hosts were two goals to the good in the first half, with both Bassem Marmar (12') and Ahmed Yasser (44') on target.

But an improved showing from the Super Eagles after the break, saw Victor Osimhen (51') pull a goal back and Kelechi Iheanacho (78') net a late leveller.

South Africa 1-2 Panama

Panama were too strong for South Africa in their second friendly match, this time at the Cape Town Stadium where Gabriel Torres and Adolfo Machado were on target in each half, with only Mbekezeli Mbokazi netting a consolation for the hosts.

Benin 1-0 Guinea

Steve Mounie was the difference as he netted Benin's only goal in their 1-0 international friendly victory over Guinea with his effort after 57 minutes at Stade de l’Amitie.

Morocco 2-1 Paraguay

Morocco recorded an impressive 2-1 win over South America's Paraguay, with both Bilal El Khannouss (23') and Neil El Aynaoui (68') on target for the African side. Miguel Almiron (75') netted late on for Paraguay.

Algeria 0-0 Uruguay

There were no goals separating Algeria and Uruguay at Stade du 5 Juillet 1962 despite Darwin Nunez's best efforts as Algeria stopper Rais M'Bolhi made some key saves throughout the tie.

Scotland 0-1 Ivory Coast

Nicolas Pepe was the difference as Ivory Coast overcame Scotland 1-0 at Stade de la Meinau on Tuesday.

Pepe netted the only goal of the game after 58 minutes for a statement win as Scotland struggled in front of goal.

Senegal 3-1 Gambia

Abdoulaye Seck (15'), Ibrahim Mbaye (37') and Lamine Camara (66') were all on target for the Africa Nations champions at Stade de la Licorne ahead of a late consolation goal from Omar Colley (79').

Burkina Faso 1-1 Guinea Bissau

Burkina Faso took a 34th minute lead at Stade du 4 Aout through Jonathan Pitroipa but had to settle for a share of the spoils following Frederic Mendy's 71st minute equaliser.
