Golden Arrows sign Ivorian duo Dion and Komara

Dion (31) is a former Jwaneng Galaxy forward, who first signed for Marumo Gallants when moving to South Africa in 2021.

He joins after two years with Usuthu where he played 47 times, scoring 14 goals and assisting two.

The club posted on social media: "The most POWERFUL Ivorian Striker since Didier Drogba. La bete d'Abidjan. Junior Dion is here to dominate and score GOALS.

"Welcome Striker JUNIOR DION."

Komara is a former Mas Fes, FUS Rabat and ASEC Mimosas defender, and signed for Arrows on a two-year deal.

In a separate message the club welcomed the 24-year-old: "The heart of a Lion, the silence and strength of an Elephant. He looks and plays like Toure.. Kolo Toure

"Defends nos couleurs avec ta vie, Oumar (Defend our colours with your life, Oumar)

"Abafana bes'thende, Welcome DEFENDER Oumar Komara."
