Trent Alexander-Arnold backs Jose Mourinho to deliver Real Madrid success
Trent Alexander-Arnold believes Jose Mourinho can help Real Madrid return to winning ways after describing it as "a pleasure" to work under the Portuguese manager.

The Portuguese coach is reportedly targeting another centre-back and a creative midfielder.
According to MARCA, Mourinho believes the squad still requires upgrades in those two positions after identifying shortcomings from last season.
While the arrivals of Marc Cucurella, Ibrahima Konate, Denzel Dumfries and Bernardo Silva have strengthened the squad, the new manager wants further additions before the transfer window closes.
The report states that Mourinho is seeking an elite central defender despite Konate's arrival. His stance is understood to stem from concerns over Antonio Rudiger's age and Eder Militao's repeated injury problems in recent seasons.
In midfield, Mourinho is said to be looking for a playmaker capable of controlling possession, setting the tempo and helping Madrid dominate matches, qualities he believes were missing throughout the previous campaign.
However, Real Madrid cannot pursue those deals immediately because both positions are already well stocked. Before making further signings, the club must first reduce the size of the squad.
MARCA adds that Madrid have already identified players they are prepared to offload. In defence, Raul Asencio is the preferred departure after Mourinho decided the youngster does not feature in his long-term plans.
Even so, the manager would rather secure another centre-back before encouraging Asencio to seek a move elsewhere.
Eduardo Camavinga has emerged as the leading candidate to leave the midfield. Although the club believe the French international still commands a strong transfer fee following a dip in form, Camavinga has no intention of departing and is determined to prove to Mourinho that he deserves to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu.
