The Village Boys were crowned National First Division champions with a convincing 3-1 victory over relegation-threatened Black Leopards at the KaNyamazane Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Khetukuthula Ndlovu (33', 66') and Celimpilo Ngema (72') were all on target before a late Leopards' consolation goal.

The result left the club eight points clear at the top of the league standings with two games of their season to play.

Milford, Hungry Lions, Casric Stars and Cape Town City will all now battle for promotion via the play-offs.
