Having already secured the league title with games to spare, head coach Miguel Cardoso opted for rotation, making five changes from the side that beat Chippa United. Malibongwe Khoza, Khuliso Mudau, Aubrey Modiba, Neo Maema, and Arthur Sales all returned to the starting XI.
It took just four minutes for the champions to make their mark. Ribeiro opened the scoring with a deft touch on Iqraam Rayners' goal-bound effort, notching his 15th goal of the season and further strengthening his claim for the Golden Boot.
Rayners nearly doubled the lead soon after, but his header from a Ribeiro cross was denied by the upright. Sundowns didn't have to wait long for their second, however, as Ribeiro doubled his tally midway through the first half. The Brazilian collected a pass from Marcelo Allende before curling a composed finish into the far corner.
The home side continued to apply pressure. Teboho Mokoena struck the woodwork with a powerful free-kick, while Mosa Lebusa came close with a half-volley from the edge of the box.
Cardoso made changes at the interval, introducing Tashreeq Matthews and Mothobi Mvala, but Sundowns' control remained unchallenged. Rayners forced a strong save from Elvis Chipezeze ten minutes into the second half with a curling effort from range.
Peter Shalulile nearly added a third with an ambitious overhead kick late on, before missing a golden opportunity to assist when Arthur Sales failed to convert a low cross at the far post.
Magesi enjoyed a late spell of possession but lacked the cutting edge to trouble Ronwen Williams, as Sundowns comfortably saw out the match.
With this result, the Brazilians conclude their domestic league campaign in style, reaffirming their dominance and setting their sights on upcoming cup and continental challenges.
