Lilepo continued his fine run of form by netting in the 1-1 draw against Sekhukhune United, taking his tally to six goals since joining the club in January. Despite his impressive start, Nabi believes the best is yet to come from the Congolese international.
The Tunisian tactician revealed that Lilepo was not in top physical condition when he arrived at Naturena, due to issues with his previous club that kept him sidelined for some time.
"We feel that he's a player who hasn't reached his full potential yet. Before joining us, he went through a spell without playing because of problems at his former club," Nabi was quoted by Idiski Times.
"You can see it in how he sometimes struggles to complete matches. But once he gets through a proper pre-season and adapts fully to his teammates, he can offer much more than what we're seeing now."
Lilepo's latest goal came in the same week that his stunning strike against Marumo Gallants was named the PSL Goal of the Month for April. Nabi believes the accolade is just the beginning for the 27-year-old.
"This is only the first step. He's a winger, but the type who can easily finish the season with 10 goals. He loves cutting inside, he's always hunting for chances - either to score himself or to create for his teammates. And we believe he can even go beyond that," he added.
