Relegated Magesi dismiss head coach Allan Freese

Freese was brought in by the struggling team to replace John Maduka in February and save them from the drop.

Magesi though ultimately lost out to Milford FC in the relegation/promotion play-offs after ending their season in 15th place.

The club are now preparing for a campaign in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, but will do so without Freese, as well as assistant Abram Nteo, fitness coach Pedro Picarro and goalkeeper coach Fiston Kwabanga.

A Magesi statement read: "To Allan, Abram, Pedro, and Fiston: Thank you for your efforts, your commitment, and your contribution to Dikwena tša Meetse.

"Although we didn't manage to get to where we wanted as a club, your work on the training ground, the guidance you gave the players, and the professionalism you brought every day did not go unnoticed.

"Thank you for the standards you set, the knowledge you shared, and the love you showed for the badge.

"We are grateful for your time with Dikwena tsa Meetse. From the club and the Dikwena family, we wish you success, growth, and all the best in your next chapter."

Former Highbury head coach Kabelo Sibiya is one name being linked to take over at Magesi for the new season.
