Siwelele show interest in Orlando Pirates midfielder Rasebotja

The 25-year-old has struggled for game-time since joining the Soweto giants in 2024 on a free transfer following the sale of SuperSport United, making only 11 appearances for the club in all competitions.

He did not feature at all during the 2025/26 treble winning campaign under Abdeslam Ouaddou due to injury and may slip down the pecking order, with the Buccaneers making several new midfield acquisitions ahead of the new season.

According to iDiski Times, the Bloemfontein-based side is looking to secure Rasebotja on either on loan or on a permanent deal.

Siwelele coach Lehlohonolo Seema will look to strengthen his side following a number of notable departures including left-back Neo Rapoo and winger Bohlale Ngwato, who both joined Pirates, while midfielder Gape Moralo moved to AmaZulu as a free agent.

Rasebotja still has a year remaining on his current deal with Siwelele.
