Sekhukhune United announce return of former goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata
Sekhukhune United have confirmed the signing of former goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata.
The 21-year-old defender joined Babiba Noko from Jomo Cosmos last season but was a regular fixture in the side with 27 appearances in all competitions and five assists, that saw him earn a call-up to the Bafana squad.
He was a reported target for French Ligue 1 side Nice last season while Malatji revealed that he turned down a bid from Austrian Football Bundesliga side Austria Vienna for the talented left-back.
While Letlapa says he is ready to make the step up, Malatji wants the player to stay in South Africa and refine his game.
The player told the Sowetan: "I am ready. I think a move would be something that would change my life.
"When I arrived at Sekhukhune, a lot of people said I might not be ready for the Premiership, but I told myself that I was ready.
"So, if I got to go overseas, settling in is the most important thing. As long as I'd got the help that I need, I think I'd settle in well."
Malatsi added: "Yes, [an] offer came. However, we realised that he still needs to remain, so that he can be better in terms of quality. He will leave [but not now.] It'll always be our call that anyone who wants to grow must be given that opportunity."
