Katlego Ntsabeleng: The timing felt right to return to Mamelodi Sundowns
Katlego "Tsiki" Ntsabeleng has opened up about his decision to return to South Africa and join Mamelodi Sundowns after several years in the United States.
The 26-year-old Bafana Bafana midfielder had been a target for Babina Noko this off-season.
He was reported by Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi to have been in pre-season training with the reigning Premier Soccer League champions.
But after making only 16 league appearances last season while having yet to feature this term, a move to Sekhuhkune is reportedly on the cards.
Sekhukhune kicked off their Betway Premiership campaign with a 2-0 win over Magesi and after the game, Seema spoke to iDiski Times.
He said: "Let's wait and see. When is the window closing? So definitely if there is news ja. The rumours let's keep it as rumours like that but as long as the window is still open that's for sure that maybe one or two [players] we can see."
Seema added that he would welcome the signing to add depth to his squad.
“We are playing four games here so as long as we have depth because injuries will come, loss of form and a lot of things can happen,” he explained.
“We are just trying to make sure we balance our squad so that in each and every game we can have a good team.”
