Sipho Mbule loan move still in the works, insists Mike Makaab

The 26-year-old former SuperSport United midfielder is reportedly eager to move for more game-time.

He played just 22 times for the Brazilians last season and is yet to feature in the current campaign.

Sekhukhune United are a reported destination for Mbule, with the player's agent Mike Makaab working hard to secure a deal.

He told FARPost: "We are seriously looking to get a loan move for Sipho Mbule in the current transfer window to get some playing minutes."

It remains to be seen if Sundowns will allow the player to leave, with head coach Manqoba Mngqithi telling iDiski Times: "I think he has been training very well, but he still has issues, because he's coming from an injury, but he's already in full training.

"He's a very good player. His quality is second to none.

“However, there are some areas of his of his football that must improve, but he's a very is a very good football player and we are happy to have him around.”
