University of Pretoria announce 18 new signings

TUKS ended last season in a dismal 10 place on the National First Division standings but have ambitions to challenge for promotion this season.

They were last in the South African top flight in the 2015/16 season, having been promoted in the 2011/12 campaign.

The ambitious club unveiled the new signings with a number of posts on social media.

The new players are Prince Nxumalo, Luvuyo Phewa, Onele Rulwana, Aphelele Teto, Tokollo Makgolane, Bantu Chigi, Vusi Sibiya, Thulani Zandamela, Abel Mabasa, Jordan Allies, Lesego Sebetlela, Akhanyile Norwana, Sbonga Mgwaba, Thabo Nkwana, Sifiso Mazibuko, Thando Buthelezi, Kamohelo Hoala, and Sifiso Mbidana.

Kwanele Kopo will lead TUKS for their new season that kicks off on Friday with a match against Highbury FC at the Gelvandale Stadium.
