PSG are expected to step up negotiations with Leipzig in the coming weeks as they pursue one or two marquee additions during the off-season transfer window.
Chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi, sporting adviser Luis Campos and manager Luis Enrique are all overseeing the club's recruitment plans.
Liverpool have already made an attempt to sign Diomande, but an opening offer worth 69 million pounds, plus a further 17 million in add-ons, was rejected earlier this month.
Leipzig are understood to want around 129 million pounds before considering a sale. The Bundesliga side remain adamant they are under no financial pressure to part with the youngster after signing him from Leganes last off-season on a five-year deal.
"First of all, like I said, my dream is playing for my country and making history with my country," Diomande said on Tuesday.
"I don't have Instagram anymore, I don't have TikTok, so I can't see anything but I expect to leave [RB Leipzig] of course.
"I have an agent who's going to manage the rest, but for me the most important thing right now is focusing on the World Cup with my country and making history with them."
