Igor Tudor full of praise for Juventus after win against Atalanta

In what turned out to be a tough away trip, Juventus ultimately prevailed thanks to goals from Jonathan David (73') and Dusan Vlahovic (77').

Despite having the lion's share of possession, Juventus were not able to dominate the game and the number of chances created was pretty even.

As the final friendly before the start of the new Serie A season, the time for pre-season preparation is coming to an end and Tudor is happy with where his team is at going into the 2025-26 campaign.

"Teun was very good. He's a strong player. I really liked his display today," he said after the game.

"When you play against Atalanta, you have to be ready for a duel. It wasn't easy against Hien, so welcome to Italian football.

"Jonathan moved a lot, he worked hard, he gave everything. It was different for him at Lille, as he didn't have as many duels. Today, he had more duels than he did while playing 10 games for Lille, and then he scored in the box. He's an excellent player."

Tudor refused to be drawn into speculation regarding any potential transfers before the deadline at the end of the month.

"I won't talk about the transfer market, there are still 10 days left. I liked Dusan's performance. He's valuable and he's a Juventus player."
