Kaizer Chiefs set to part ways with Gaston Sirino

The Uruguayan playmaker joined the Soweto giants on a two-year deal as a free agent after being released by Mamelodi Sundowns when his contract expired in June 2024.

Sirino made 52 appearances for Amakhosi, scoring five goals while providing eight assists, helping the club to end a ten-year trophy drought after winning the 2024/25 Nedbank Cup.

According to iDiskiTimes, the Glamour Boys have decided against renewing the 35-year-old's contract that ends at the end of the month.

A number of top-flight PSL clubs are keeping tabs on his situation with Chiefs yet to announce squad changes ahead of the 2025/26 season.
