Nicolas Jackson earns Bayern Munich praise after impressive display

Jackson, who joined Bayern on loan from Chelsea during the recent transfer window, has begun to find his rhythm in Germany. While the 24-year-old is yet to score in the Bundesliga, he has been directly involved in four goals in the Champions League (two goals and two assists), showing steady improvement since his arrival.

Eberl, speaking after Bayern's 3–0 win at Borussia-Park, said Jackson's contribution went far beyond statistics. "The space was extremely tight for the strikers," Eberl said. "When you play around the penalty area like that, there's little room. But Nicolas was one of the players who had the patience to turn the game around today.

"He has put himself at the service of the team. That's exactly what we need, patience, discipline, and team spirit."

Bayern have been in dominant form this season, winning all eight of their league matches and opening up a five-point lead over second-placed RB Leipzig.

Under Vincent Kompany, they have blended attacking flair with a strong team ethic, and Jackson's work rate has made him a valuable squad player behind Harry Kane.

For Chelsea, Jackson's resurgence could prove timely. With Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and the soon-to-arrive Emanuel Emegha competing for attacking roles, the London club are expected to part ways with Jackson permanently next summer. Bayern hold an option to buy, though reports in Germany suggest the club have not yet decided whether to activate it.

Still, a strong season in Munich would boost Jackson's value and make him an attractive target for several European clubs. For now, both Bayern and Chelsea will be pleased to see him settling and performing at a high level.
