Nicolas Jackson looks ahead to Liverpool clash after brace in Chelsea's European win

Jackson made a significant impact off the bench in Sweden, scoring twice in a superb second-half cameo to put Chelsea on the verge of their first European final since 2021.

"I'm very happy we won and now we're one step closer to the final," Jackson reflected.

"They were good goals and confident finishes, especially the second one, but the most important thing is that we won. We will go 100 per cent in the next game.

"We were very good. Especially when you come to a pitch and a stadium like this which you're not used to playing, but we're very happy we played very well, attacked very good and defended very good."

Despite the lively home support, the Blues remained composed throughout, with Jadon Sancho and Noni Madueke getting on the scoresheet in the first half.

The Senegalese forward praised Chelsea's mentality and resilience, highlighting the team's growing confidence as they chase success on multiple fronts.

Chelsea's dominant performance in Stockholm means they carry a commanding lead into the second leg at Stamford Bridge.

"We will prepare like always - recover good and listen to the coach," Jackson added.

"It's about moving to the next one on Sunday against Liverpool and then we will see after that.

"We're focused on Sunday. It won't be easy, but nothing is. We'll just fight for more and try to win the next one."
